Rossignol de midi

Dans la Dombes à midi et entre deux avions, j’arrive à enregistrer un Rossignol Philomèle (Luscinia megarhynchos). On peut percevoir l’agitation qui règne sur l’étang tout proche. Des foulques macroules (Fulica atra) et des grèbes castagneux (Tachybaptus ruficollis) perturbent la quiétude de l’étang. Une fauvette à tête noire (Sylvia atricapilla) se permet même d’accompagner le soliste du jour!

In the Dombes at midday, between two planes, I manage to record a Philomela Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos). You can hear the commotion on the nearby pond. Coots (Fulica atra) and great crested grebes (Tachybaptus ruficollis) disturb the tranquility of the pond. A black-capped warbler (Sylvia atricapilla) even takes the liberty of accompanying the soloist of the day!
