Concert vert

Aux abords d’une roselière bordant un étang dans la Dombes, je place mes microphones tôt le matin afin de capter le concert des grenouilles vertes (Pelophylax sp.). Elles sont en nombre et couvrent de leur chant les rousserolles effarvattes (Acrocephalus scirpaceus) qui se trouvent un peu plus loin.
Sur l’étang, l’avifaune va saluer les premiers rayons du soleil. Pour terminer cette séquence le rossignol philomèle  (Luscinia megarhynchos) nous gratifie de quelques phrases.

On the edge of a reedbed bordering a pond in the Dombes region, I set up my microphones early in the morning to capture the concert of green frogs (Pelophylax sp.). There are many of them, and their songs drown out the warblers (Acrocephalus scirpaceus), which are a little further away.
On the pond, the birdlife greets the first rays of sunshine. To end this sequence, the nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos) gives us a few phrases.
