SOIRÉE D’ÉTÉ

La nuit s’installe. Les grillons d’Italie (Oecanthus pellucens) font résonner dans le soir tombant, leur petite musique de nuit. Soudain l’ambiance s’alourdit. Le tonnerre gronde au loin. Cela n’a pas l’air de gêner nos charmants musiciens. Le concert perdure jusqu’à l’arriver de la pluie salvatrice.

It’s getting dark. The Italian crickets (Oecanthus pellucens) are making their night music as evening falls. Suddenly the atmosphere grows heavier. Thunder rumbles in the distance. Our charming musicians don’t seem to mind. The concert goes on until the arrival of the saving rain.
