Souvenir d’alpage

De retour à Clausis dans le Queyras, je capte ce moment caractéristique du paysage sonore de la montagne.
Un gomphocère popeye (Gomphocerus sibiricus) stridule au premier plan, tandis que dans le fond du vallon, les sonnailles d’un troupeau de brebis montent jusqu’à moi. Un peu plus tard, des randonneurs imprudents alertent les patous, qui veillaient jusqu’alors silencieusement sur le troupeau.

Back in Clausis in the Queyras, I capture this characteristic moment in the mountain soundscape.
A gomphocerus popeye (Gomphocerus sibiricus) streaks across the foreground, while at the bottom of the valley, the ringing of a flock of sheep rises to my ears. A little later, some unwary hikers alert the patous, who until then had been silently watching over the flock.
